Chapitre 55: Scarlet – A Headache

After the first storm, things cooled down a little. The mist grew around us, but we never encountered another storm. Little Alzar shifted in this original form to mirror Sabastian for most of the journey. He shifted into his fragile state to eat and get himself cleaned up. He did not even want to sleep with me when he found out Sabastian slept outside my tent. I would be lying if I said that did not annoy me a little. Sabastian could care less about him, and he gravitated more toward him than me. I guess this was how parents felt when their children chose one parent over the other.
