"Why are you going away, father? Don't you want to sell me now?" Apophis asked, tightening his grip on the Beggar's right hand.
The Beggar tried his best but he couldn't make himself free from Apophis at all.
A grown up man was being held by a five year old in place.
"Just who are you? How are you so strong? Let me go!"
"That's right. Just like that. A Beggar should only beg. Beg more."
Apophis let out a craze laugh and the Beggar finally understood.
The Beggar had never faced any problems as he always minded his own business. He never involved himself with thugs and smugglers because he wanted to stay safe. He didn't want to die.
However, from the moment he saved Apophis he signed his death warrant. Apophis' behavior was exactly like those thugs whom the Beggar was staying away from.
