Sometimes it's not the people who change, it's the mask that falls off.

Melda, who cursed Dreamer to her heart's content and only stopped when Dreamer threatened her, was helping Liberi for Dreamer. This didn't feel right.

'She must be planning something.' Liberi thought. He would not take any rash steps.

"Why are you helping me? I am not a fool who believes that people can change so easily." Liberi asked the main question. No point in thinking too much.

Melda flinched at the question.

She was standing with her head facing downwards.

"I-If anything happened to him-I mean Lord Dreamer, then it is us who will face issues. So for our safety, I am helping you." Melda shared the reason.

Liberi heard her carefully and he found the reason logical.

If something happened to Dreamer then the people would have nowhere to go as their city was in ruins.

However, Liberi was still cautious. 'Is she lying? Or she is planning something else.'
