The audience couldn't hear what Dreamer said, only Ulcer heard him.

And as he heard, he understood one thing. "So you are manipulating them, huh."

Dreamer smirked. "I am doing nothing. I just gave them jobs and money. Their loving me is just compensation for all that."

"Don't bother." Dreamer stopped Ulcer midway, showing his palm. "I know what you are trying to do."

Ulcer's eyes twitched. "Wh-What do you mean?"

"You tried to attack me from behind just seconds ago and you are asking what I mean?"

Sweat surfaced on Ulcer's face. He went silent.

Dreamer squinted his eyes. "What's wrong? You were trying to indulge me in talks so that you could do a sneak attack. Am I wrong?"

Ulcer remained silent and Dreamer moved his gaze below, at the floor.

"You must have passed the branch underneath the stage. That's a nice move but you see, my eyes are…" Dreamer looked back again at Ulcer and… vanished.
