“Samantha, I need to speak with you ASAP,” I whispered to my sister, even though she was sitting a few inches beside me. I get a few minutes with her, before going to work to meet with Jeremy.
There's no better time than the present. It's been a while, since I've been trying to get to speak with her alone. But, it's either Lucy or her husband David hovering around here. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore my brother-in-law but I wish he'd give her a second alone.
“I'm feeling queasy Nattie.” Her hand rubbed her tummy, while she spoke in a low soft voice.
Pressing my hand to her face, “Morning sickness?”
“Yup, this second baby is taking quite a toll on me, unlike Troy.” Her legs properly stretched out across the coffee table. The one habit that Jeremy detests, and complains about every time.
