Chapitre 3: Ch3: Their Beginning (3)
Forty-Five minutes later his father was back with his grandpa, when they both walked into the house hearing the heavy metal along with a childish voice screaming they could only shake their heads. It was a good thing they didn't have neighbors or it would have been a nightmare.
Turning the corner they saw Ashley thrashing her head as Hayden was screaming the lyrics that were currently going, "MAKE THE WORLD REMEMBER..... THAT THIS IS HELLLLLLL!!!!"
Joshua Hayden's dad couldn't help but smile at the scene, while his dad tried to hold in his laugh but there was a smile in his eyes, "Son, I will say it again, you married one strange woman.... but damn if she isn't perfect for you or a good mother to my grandson."
He nodded along with his dads words as he walked over and cut the music, that brought the two out of their own world each quickly turning their heads to look at them. "GRANDPA!!" Hayden yelled hopping off the stool and running to hug his grandpa.
"Haha! Hayden! It is so good to see you, I heard today was your first day of school?!" His grandpa said while smiling at him, he bent down picking Hayden up and carrying him.
For the third time that day he told his story again, his grandpa asked questions in all the right places just like his mom and dad did. His parents watched on the side while smiling, they loved seeing the two together since they got along so well it warmed anyone's heart to see what was going on between them.
"Alright dinner is ready guys." Hayden's mom called out an hour later, they had already moved into the living room where Hayden was showing his grandpa all his newest drawings.
When they heard her voice they all moved to the dining room, Hayden pouted since he didn't get to help set up the table but brushed it off soon after. The family all sat around eating dinner as they caught up, Hayden was silent just listening since it was the adults talking at the moment.
"So we only have nine months huh?" His grandpa said while looking over to Hayden before turning back to his parents.
They both looked at him too and nodded while his dad spoke, "Yeah after his birthday we can start since he will be getting the same gifts as you. Since it skips a generation then I can't teach him to control it like you can, the office is already letting me be in the field after it happens."
"You told them?" His grandpa asked looking shocked and a little angry.
"What? Oh, No! I just told them it was special circumstances and they agreed to let me transfer as much as I needed until you had him fully trained." His dad said with a little laugh.
"Okay that is good then?"
Hayden had no clue what was happening, all he knew was that his birthday was in nine months and that they were talking about him. He just shrugged his shoulders, all he cared about was having a good time with his family and continuing his goals in life.
"Well I have an announcement, I wanted to wait until everyone was here first before I said it though." His mom suddenly said pulling everyone's attention to her, there was a big smile on her face at the moment, seeing she had everyone's attention she spoke, "I'm Pregnant!"
Hayden looked around as the table went quiet, his dad's eyes went wide before a giant grin took over his face, his grandpa was the same way. Hayden though was confused since it was the first time he has heard the word, "What does that mean?" he asked everyone.
They stopped celebrating for a moment remembering that he was there, "Well it means that in six months you are going to have a little brother or sister." His mom said with excitement in her voice.
"Wait!! You are three months pregnant?!" His dad asked wondering how she hid it so well, he wasn't made but extremely happy since he knew how hard it was for her to become pregnant.
"Yeah, I wanted to make sure it stuck before telling everyone. I thought now was a good time since I didn't want everyone to think I am just getting fatter and fatter." She giggled while Joshua went over to hug her.
Hayden nodded happy he was going to be an older brother, "Well can the baby sleep in my room? I have to be a cool big brother so he/she has to see all my cool drawings!"
The table laughed as his parents moved closer to talk to him, Samuel his grandpa watched with a smile. His wife was the same way because of their special circumstances it was hard to get their wives pregnant, but when they did it was a miracle for them.
He was now happy that he was going to have another Grandchild, he figured after training Hayden it was time to settle down with them again. After his wife's death he went on his mission and even after completing it he still moved around a lot but maybe he should stop.
The rest of dinner was them all happily talking about the new baby to come, Hayden was a little upset that it wouldn't be sleeping with him but got over it. He would just need to show Him/Her how cool he was slowly, he was going to be the best big brother there ever was.
At the moment his mom was watching him while he was in the tub, again they were listening to heavy metal until his dad walked in stopping it, "Can you please, for me, just listen to something we all can enjoy?"
His mom pouted but nodded her head, "Fine we will listen to something more tame but when you aren't around it is back to our usual program."
Hayden laughed while his mom switched it up to something she felt they wouldn't have a problem with, NSYNC was now playing. He could understand why his dad shook his head as he walked away, the two were so opposite he didn't know what his mom was thinking.
After a bath he was taken to his room where he was only allowed to draw or practice music for thirty minutes then it was bed time. Although unfair in his eyes he nodded at her words before picking up his Ukulele and got to work, he was going to master it before Guitar.
After practice he went to sleep.

The next morning Hayden was up earlier then usual, he knew it would happen though since it did every time his grandpa came to visit. After changing he was brought out into the morning air before they made it to the trail, it was one his dad made himself.
"Alright Hayden, let's get to it!" His grandpa said before they took off in a light jog, "You need to get in the habit of doing this, remember great mind, great body, great spirit! Training will keep you healthy and alert even into your late years like me."
"But Grandpa you are only fifty-five, how are you old?" Hayden asked he really didn't see his grandpa as that old.
All he got was a laugh in return. The two ran less then a mile since Hayden started to breath heavy and go slower, smiling at his grandson he picked Hayden up and took him back home.
They walked into the house to the smell of Blueberry and Pumpkin-spice Muffins, "Smells good mom!" Hayden said as they entered the kitchen.
She looked up with a smile, "Yeah well you can't have any until you take your shower, you still have an hour before school so let's get you washed up."
Leaving her Muffins to cool she grabbed his hand and led him to the bathroom, she already had his clothes sitting there waiting for him. Hayden was left in the bath as she went to go grab his towel, he sat real still and waited on her like she asked him too.
After his bath he was led back to the kitchen, "Alright where are my Muffins?!" He asked as he sat at the counter in one of the bar stools.
His mom laughed while handing him two of them, "Here take your time we still have some before you need to get to school, I already out you lunch and snack inside your bag for the day."
He just nodded along as he was scarfing down the pumpkin-spice he mumbled some words which made her laugh, "Are you going to save me any?" His dad asked coming inside already dressed for work, only his mom was taking him this morning.
Hayden shook his head and grabbed another, his hand was swatted away though by his mom since he had already eaten four, "No more, you are really going to get fat if you eat like this."
He sighed looking regretful while watching the muffins longingly but didn't reach for them again, his parents laughed on the side along with his Grandpa. After everyone was ready they headed out, his mom and Grandpa were taking him to school today his insisted they do.
When he got there he showed his Grandpa everything while also getting there in time for him to meet Issac before he had to go to his class. "HAYDEN!!" they heard Lydia's voice coming from behind them.
Looking towards her Hayden smiled as she let go of her mothers hand and ran over to him, he grabbed her hand and held it as she reached him. "Good morning Lydia, come meet my Grandpa Samuel." He said while introducing her to him.
They spoke for awhile as she also let him meet her mom, when they needed to head into class he noticed that kids were a lot calmer. Well except for Stiles and Scott who were the same as yesterday, he ignored them and went to his seat holding Lydia's hand.
"Alright class let's work in the work books this morning. Today you all will be going to music class so until then we will be working on this." Mrs. Ryan said with a friendly smile as she calmed the class down.
Hayden got excited and looked over to Lydia who looked interested but not as excited as him, they both went to their cubbies they got yesterday grabbing their work books.
Inside there books there was a big difference, Lydia did all the math questions first while Hayden did all the drawing. They were able to finish those yesterday while working on them.
Today they both went and worked on copying letters, looking to Lily she already had those done so it was only Lydia and him working on it. The room was quiet with the sound of pencils moving along as they worked in the books, again though Stiles and Scott caused problems.
After some time it they went to their music class, Hayden couldn't control himself as he moved around the room looking at everything. He had studied notes before so he knew most of the signs that were across the walls.
Lydia held his hand while talking to Lily as they moved across the room, it wasn't until the teacher brought them back to the front of the class that he paid attention again.
Hayden killed it in class singing his heart out, it was the first time Lydia had heard him sing and she couldn't help but keep praising him. After class was over she kept talking about it, since he was in the mood Hayden sang to her as they moved to the classroom.
"Alright guys we have snack time while reading." Mrs. Ryan said while getting the classes attention as they were taking their seats.
Hayden brought out his snacks while Lydia took hers out, she then placed them between the two of them while they moved to settle into the bean bags. Since they were going to be reading together they only grabbed one book, Lydia passed it to him while getting comfortable.
Two hours passed as they read then worked on something together with the rest of the class, lunch came around where he met up with Issac. The two started talking again about their cartoons and the new episode that came on last night.
When it was time for recess they lined up excited to play power rangers and reenact what they saw last night on TV. Lydia let him go after a big hug and went with Lily to play again, they were going to be master chefs today which he nodded at before joining Issac.
While trying to beat an alien monster Hayden heard Lydia scream, looking over he saw that she was down in the sand box while a boy stood over her. She looked close to tears which made him made, without saying a word he rushed over and pushed the boy who pushed her.
Lydia's nose was red while her eyes were filled with tears, Hayden got mad seeing this and was going to punch the boy who did it to her. Before he could move though he felt someone tugging on his shirt, looking back he saw Lydia looking at him with her big eyes.
Hayden couldn't ignore those big green eyes and glared at the other boy before going to her, "Are you alright?" he asked while looking her over luckily she was fine from what he could see.
"I am okay but my arm hurts a little." she said while wiping her eyes quickly.
Hayden smiled chuckling a little, "Well no need to be a cry-baby come on." he said taking her hand and moving back to where a stunned Issac was standing watching them.
"I AM NOT A CRY-BABY!!!" Lydia said with a pout while holding his hand, Lily was following them with a hand covering her mouth while letting out giggles.
"What happened?" Hayden asked after seeing that he was able to get her mind off of what just happened, it was something his mom did with him. Just distract her from the pain.
"W-well we were playing chef, then that boy came over saying it was his sandbox. Lily wanted to go but we were there first so I didn't move, when I told him that he pushed me." Lydia said with an angry face.
"Next time I will push him harder then. How could he be mean to the cute and adorable Lydia." Hayden said while shaking his fist as they made it over to where Issac was standing.
Lydia gave him a bright smile while giggling with Lily, "True, he just doesn't know what cute is."
Hayden smiled and set her up on the side where her and Lily started to play princess, Lydia was the queen while Lily was the princess. Seeing that she was going back to normal and forgot the incident Hayden went back to playing with Issac.
