Do you know the feeling of being accepted? the feeling of being recognized by your crush's family, I was feeling happy, feeling over the moon and elevated.

Sabby's uncle and her mother had accepted and taken a date for the introduction and engagement.

I felt giddy, it was overwhelming and exciting also, my mother has been preparing everything and anything, she wanted no mistakes or errors.

I wore my blue jalamia, cuffing the cufflinks of my sleeves as I took my perfume and sprayed it on my wrists before rubbing them together. I called Sabby to inform her that it was already time to visit Sophia, so that we could invite her to our small engagement gathering and take Abdullah to the party.

"Mom" I hollered from the stairs, "where do you put the car key?" I asked, searching in the drawer for the keys.

"Check the pants you wore yesterday," she responded.
