And the next second, this 'reason' actually stood up from her desk and finally walked out to show her face again.

The store manager Tilia batted her eyes, flashing a smile at Liam. 

Many of the new members were extremely shocked at this behaviour, but the old members had seen a lot more, so they did not particularly pay any attention to her.

Similarly, Liam also did not pay much attention to her. He politely nodded back but then quickly went back to ignoring her.
