Chapitre 28: Bad Impression

Nate refuses to look up because of shame and anger.

If the anger of Zadok reaches its peak, he can kill Nate with no mercy, so he gotta be careful with who he looks at in the eye for now.

And maybe forever.

"What impression are you trying to place before the human? That we kill when we do not? That we get carried away by the smell of blood when the curse is what made us like that?" Nate's ears stand straight up hearing that word... 'Human'.

He has forgotten about Zyla, he doesn't even know a human came to their midst before.

"Crossing the red lake is now a problem. She thinks she's scared because of her fathers mistakes when she isn't. She is simply having that resistance because she now knows what vampires, do, how, and why they do it" Nate's eyes widen slowly.
