Rina and Steve drove the kids to school the next day. When they got there, they stayed silent, not uttering a word to each other.
Steve looked at the kids through the mirror before his eyes came to settle on Rina, raising his brows at her.
Rina huffed and turned to her side to look at the kids who seem to be moody before parting her lips to speak.
“Are you not getting down again? Don’t you think you will be late for class?” Rina asked with a smile but they only stared at her and she sighed.
“Hey, you don’t have to worry about anything. We will be here waiting for you as usual,” Steve said in a convincing tone but none of them seem to be buying it.
“You don’t have to pretend like everything is okay,” Bella spoke both Rina and Steve looked at her.
“Yes. We are adults already so we understand what is going on,” agreed Chloe and Rina set her lips into thin line.
