Chapitre 7: Chapter 7 Apartment

Fiddling with my phone, I glanced up at the driver and asked, "Sir, do you happen to know of any places available for rent near the university?"
The driver looked at me through the rearview mirror, pondering my question for a moment. Finally, he nodded and said, "Actually, I know someone who owns an apartment nearby. According to my friend, the place is in good condition, but the rent might be on the higher side."
I was relieved by the driver's answer. It meant that Gu Yuena and I didn't have to spend more time looking for apartments. We just needed to buy furniture and appliances for our new place.
After expressing my gratitude, I stepped out of the car and thanked the driver once again. The apartment building stood tall and had a modern design that blended well with the city. It looked impressive, and I hoped the apartment would meet my expectations.
With a hopeful feeling, I made my way inside the building. As I entered the lobby, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who directed me to the apartment owner's office. Knocking on the door, I waited for a moment before being invited in.
Inside the office, I met Mr. Yukimora, the apartment owner. He was a friendly middle-aged man who seemed eager to help. I explained my interest in renting one of his apartments near the university. Mr. Johnson smiled warmly and began describing the available unit in detail.
He mentioned that it was a well-maintained three-bedroom apartment on the second floor. It had a spacious living area, a cozy bedroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. The building itself offered amenities like a fitness center, a communal lounge, and a rooftop garden. However, he also mentioned that the rent for the apartment was a bit higher than average.
Considering the location, condition, and environment, I understood why the rent was higher. After discussing the terms and signing the necessary paperwork, now I had secured a place to live near the university.
As I thought about it, I realized that I should introduce modern elements to my kingdom from the lake where I met Gu Yuena's dragon form.
In the past, I found out that I had the ability to travel to another world, and I could bring the girls along with me. Because of this, I decided to learn about Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering through the books.
After completing my first modern house using magic and runes, I also took the time to improve the landscape.
After spending three weeks in that world, Chisato decided to adopt a little white cat that she found in the forest, while Kirukiru chose to take care of a black snake. However, the most interesting was Gu Yuena, as she adopted a purple-black snake with golden eyes, a pure black snake, a bear cub with golden stripes on its neck, and a crimson-colored three-headed dog.
As for me, I already had my hands full taking care of three girls, so I didn't feel the need to add more pets to the mix. I was also focused on creating a comfortable home for us at that time.
Gu Yuena and I looked around the apartment, and we were delighted to see that it was indeed comfortable. The spacious living area, cozy bedrooms, and fully equipped kitchen made us feel at home.
"This place is so comfortable, let's buy it already," Gu Yuena exclaimed. She momentarily forgot that we were planning to rent the apartment, not buy it.
"This apartment is available for a rental price of 46,000 yen," Mr. Yukimora explained with a warm smile, that resembles a caring uncle.
The price made sense because the environment was nice and cozy, and the building was well-maintained. I was also confident that the rental place was high.
"I would like to buy the whole building."Gu Yuena said, immediately handed a black card containing 10 billion yen. It was understandable because my parents owned numerous hospitals and a production company.
Mr. Yukimora's eyes widened in astonishment as he accepted the black card. He was momentarily speechless, comprehending the immense financial power before him. After a brief pause, he regained his composure and nodded.
"I see. With this generous offer, I believe we can proceed with the sale of the entire building," Mr. Yukimora said, his tone filled with a mix of astonishment and gratitude. "Please allow me to arrange the necessary paperwork."
I glanced at Gu Yuena, feeling surprised. Everything had escalated quickly than I had expected, to the point that I forgot to express my thoughts.
