Jasem, his mind still processing the intense meeting that had just transpired, walked in solitude towards the exit. Lost in his own thoughts, he was momentarily halted by a nobleman who had attended the urgent gathering called by Lord Fadel.

"My lord, please forgive the interruption," the nobleman spoke with deference, catching Jasem's attention. Jasem turned towards the voice and immediately recognized the middle-aged man standing before him. It was Lord Emberwood, a nobleman he had encountered on previous occasions.

"Lord Emberwood, it is a pleasure to see you again," Jasem greeted him warmly, a faint smile gracing his face. He recalled their prior encounters and the mutual respect they had developed. "I hope your journey was kind to you."

Lord Emberwood's face lit up with a genuine smile, his eyes reflecting a sense of appreciation. "Indeed, the roads treated me well. And I must say, I was delighted to hear the news of your encounter with my daughter."
