pointed to his side to indicate the height of the injury. “Though
I’ve got some feeling below this, it’s, uh… Well, I won’t bore you
with all the medical crap.” People tended not to want the gritty

“My right leg was broken in three places, my
left femur suffered a single fracture. Then there were the broken
ribs, the trauma to my left cheekbone as well as innumerable
contusions which covered most of my body.”
