“Then you’ll have to send me an autographed copy of the CD!” Cam laughed. “I feel like I discovered her, too.”

“You did, girlfriend. You put me in the right place at the right time. Hell…I even have a whole new career because of you.”

Cam fell back laughing. “When’s she going to be performing around here?”

“I’m not sure. I’ll check the tour schedule and let you know. I’ll send you tickets.”

“Is anything else happening in Miami?” Cam asked. Something in the back of her mind sensed that Pauly wasn’t telling her something.

Pauly hesitated. “I’m not sure, but…maybe. One of the guys at the studio, Kurt Walker, asked me to go to Key West with him for the weekend.”

“Key West, eh? Isn’t that one of the places you’ve always wanted to retire to?” Cam remembered that night in the apartment on Bolton Hill when she’d first admitted to Pauly that she’d gotten him involved in her undercover work.

“I think it was,” he admitted.
