Chapitre 13: Chapter 14

“Not at all.” A hundred men, a hundred dance floors, but never, ever, the kind of heat Dustin was feeling at that moment. Dustin cleared his throat. “No more than I offended myself anyway.”

Fingertips brushed across Dustin’s spine, a simple movement, nothing seductive if history could be trusted, and yet Dustin found it mind-blowing in its ability to make his knees weak. The music kicked into a deeper throb and Dustin used the change in rhythm to intensify movement. He stepped one foot to the side, slipping one leg between Nicolae’s, shifting closer. It was a move that awarded Dustin a quick gasp in his ear.

Dustin felt Nicolae’s fingers tighten against the small of his back. “It’s okay,” Dustin breathed. “We’re just dancing.”

Nicolae’s voice was husky, deep, and made Dustin feel dizzy. “It does not feel like dancing.”
