“Would you like to see what’s upstairs? That’s where the five of us will be sleeping,” Rush said. “Mopp, you get a room to yourself. If you…er…meet someone at the wedding you’d like to bring back here, you’ll have some privacy.”

Mopp turned bright red, and Tom hid a grin. He suspected their little country boy was still a virgin, but he had no intention of bringing that up.

“Let’s go!” Thaddeus grabbed Rush’s hand and bounded toward the spiral staircase, the girls at their heels.

They didn’t notice the almost painful blush that colored Billy Bob’s cheeks, or the wistful glance he sent after Jan before he began climbing the staircase after them.

Tom shook his head. Knowing Jan, there was no way this could have a happy ending.
