It wasn’t his car that should have worried him. Another car pulled up the street. The windows rolled down and a few men poked out their heads, catcalling. When they got closer, they slowed to a stop, then their expressions changed to horror.

“Oh my God,” one cried. “They’re all dudes! What the actual fuck?”

The other guys in the car expressed similar disgust. Pat looked over his shoulder and said, “Ignore them. They’re idiots.”

Kellan knew the type. It was like Lucy’s snide remark earlier. He could rise above their comments and be the better man, even if he was in a skirt and full make-up. He tensed his arms, accidentally crushing Casey’s elbow.

“Sorry,” he muttered, but Casey was too busy giving the guys in the car a death glare.

The guy in the back seat called out, “Whoa! Look at that big black bitch. Hey! Hey you! You still got a dick under there or did you cut it off so it wouldn’t rip your dress when you get hard around your little girlfriends?”
