“Charlie is very good at discussing power, but you have been excellent at teaching it.” Cam suddenly wanted to lash out at her. Or did she just want to lash out at the situation? She’d been so well behaved, so compliant all week. What was she feeling? If she’d met Michael two months ago, would she have volunteered for this assignment?

Michael stiffened. Her own anger began to smolder. “You learn very quickly. I’m sure you will have no problems at all inside the prison. If you remember your lessons, I’m sure you’ll be able to get anything you want.”

“I just hope I can remember it all.” A trace of sarcasm was sneaking into her tone.

“You will remember what you have learned these past weeks. I think your training will work very well for you.”

“All of my training?” Cam asked, letting the emphasis remain on the “all.”
