After checking out some of the vendors selling the standard black art, T-shirts, and movies, we turned in our tickets and found our seats.

“Hey Jasmine, why don’t you sit here beside me,” Yolanda said as she maneuvered her way into the seat, careful not to step on anyone’s toes with her three-inch high heel boots. “I’m just dying to hear what my sister had said about me.”

For the next two hours between the cheers of the crowd and squeak of sneakers up and down the court, I struggled to hear Jasmine and Yolanda’s conversation. I really ‘bout died when the two got up during the half time show to speak to one of Yolanda’s sorority sisters who was from Memphis. Finally, the game was over and we began to make our way down the Lynx tracks to the Convention Center to attend Fan Fest.
