“Luke, no,” he murmured, hands on his chest to keep him from advancing any further. “He’s not worth it.” Henry took hold of his arm and gave it a little tug. “Let’s go. Come on…let’s…”

“I love you, Henry,” Luke said when he looked at him. “You deserve so much better than—”

“I know.” He nodded. Kissed him. Smiled. “I love you, too, Luke.” Henry wasn’t sure what was happening, but to be able to say that out loud felt so freeing. Even if the words were just part of an act. Even if Luke only ever meant it as a platonic love. Having his love at all made all the difference in the world. “And I quit.” He grinned and then looked at Blaine. “I don’t need to put up with your shit when I have Luke.”

“You’re making a huge mistake,” Blaine grumbled, “you fucking—”

“I would realcareful,” Luke growled, “about how you finish that.”

“Not that it matters,” Henry said. “Human resources will be getting a fullreport about why I’m quitting, asshole.”
