Chapitre 21: Chapter 21

A few minutes later, Marc knocked on the door and came inside carrying a pair of red plaid sleep pants that seemed like they might fit. Colin slipped them on over his boxers and was ready for breakfast.

Colin came out of his room. His room—where did that idea come from?

He followed Marc to the breakfast area where he found mountains of food set out buffet style on the island counter. Colin took some scrambled eggs, bacon, three links of sausage, some home fried potatoes and a few slices of French toast.

“Someone is hungry this morning.” Marc laughed as he poured syrup on his pancakes.

“He’s adjusting,” Michelle said cryptically.

Colin sat down at the table and began to eat. He watched Marc clean his plate; he wasn’t the only one who was hungry. Marc piled his plate twice as high as his, and he went back for seconds. After Anton and Philippe came up and ate their breakfast, the buffet was practically empty, except for one piece of bacon that Marc snatched from Philippe.
