Chapitre 102: Reunion

Matthew entered the familiar dark street that was Knockturn Alley, he visited it multiple times and had no trouble finding his way through the shady alley. He directly headed in the direction of Borgin and Burkes, and a bit down he spotted a familiar dark-haired boy that was full of dust and ash. An aged witch stood in front of him, holding a tray of what looked horribly like whole human fingernails. She leered at him, showing mossy teeth. A hag that tried to grab Harry who backed away. But where was Hagrid? Didn't he save Harry in the Books?

Having no choice Matthew stepped forward and made his presence known. "There you are, Harry. Are you ok?" Harry and hag made a slight jump as they got interrupted.

"Matthew!" exclaimed Harry as he rushed to the older Student side.

"Oh how nice. Two boys for me. How about you dears come with me." Said the exited creature.

'Just the right target to try one of my new Magics.' Thought Matthew as he stepped before Harry and said with a dark tone, "I would be very careful who you try to target!", his eyes began to glow yellow and a fearsome Aura pressed onto the Hag, who directly got affected and began to step backward full of dread. But Harry who was behind Matthew didn't see the change in his eyes and neither felt the Aura since he wasn't the target.

"I-I am sorry my Lord. Please I won't bother you again." She gulped as she rushed away.

'Dread Aura is a really useful spell. Although a bit dark. But still one of the most harmless ones I found in the Scroll.' Thought Matthew was pleased by the result of his little test for his new spell. In combination with himself powering up through fear of others, he would have a massive advantage against most mortal enemies.

"You Ok, Harry?" asked Matthew as he turned to the younger boy.

"Yes, thank you, Matthew. Where are we?"

"Well, my friend. You landed in quite a dangerous place. This is Knockturn Alley the dark side of Diagon Alley. This is the place where all kinds of Criminals, dark Creatures and dark Wizards meet and do their shady business. You are quite lucky that I found you. That Hag was about to kidnap you. Hags are creatures that like to eat children. They are even known in Muggle Stories, usually, they are the bad Old Witch in these Stories." Explained Matthew.

"What are you doing here in Knockturn Alley?" asked Harry as they approached the intersection with Diagon Alley.

"I was looking for you. I met Hermione and the Weasley's who were looking for you since you didn't land in the Cauldron like everyone else. You need to speak more clearly next time, no need to be nervous. If you were unlucky you could have landed at the other end of the country." Admonished Matthew the boy a bit as they stepped out of to Diagon Alley just as they heard a loud voice from their left.

"HARRY! MATTHEW! What d'yeh think yer doin' down there?" bellowed Hagrid as he spotted both of them leaving Knockturn Alley.

"Hagrid!" exclaimed Harry happily.

"Hello, Hagrid. Harry did travel today with Floo Powder for the first time. Unfortunately, he landed in Knockturn Alley. I was looking for him. With Harry's luck, I guessed he would have landed there. So I headed into Knockturn Alley and found him there just as a hag tried to grab him, I scared her away and brought Harry back."

"That's dangerous Matthew! yeh are still underaged. An' harry yeh are a mess!" said Hagrid gruffly, brushing soot off Harry, "Skulkin' around Knockturn Alley, I dunno dodgy place, Harry — don' want no one ter see yeh down there —"

"I realized that," said Harry, ducking as Hagrid made to brush him off again. "Matthew told you, I was lost — what do you want down there, anyway? You were clearly heading there?"

I was lookin' fer a Flesh-Eatin' Slug Repellent," growled Hagrid. "They're ruinin' the school cabbages. Yer not on yer own?"

"I'm staying with the Weasley s but we got separated," Harry explained. "We've got to go and find them..."

They set off together down the street.

"How come yeh never wrote back ter me?" said Hagrid as Harry and Matthew jogged alongside him (he had to take three steps to every stride of Hagrid's enormous boots while Matthew didn't fare much better). Harry explained all about Dobby and the Dursleys.

"Lousy Muggles," growled Hagrid. "If I'd've known —"

"Not all Non-magical s are bad. But the Dursleys are disgusting. My father forced them to treat Harry better." Commented Matthew.

"Harry! Matthew! Over here!"

Hermione Granger was standing at the top of the white flight of steps to Gringotts. She ran down to meet them, her bushy brown hair flying behind her.

"Nice to see you, Harry. Hello Hagrid!" greeted Hermione both the Newcomers, "So Matthew found you? I am so glad. We were all worried. Are you going to visit Gringotts?"

"As soon as I've found the Weasleys," said Harry.

"Yeh won't have long ter wait," Hagrid said with a grin.

There was the rest of the Weasley's sprinting down the Alley heading for them.

"Harry," Mr. Weasley panted. "We hoped you'd only gone one grate too far..." He

mopped his glistening bald patch. "Molly's frantic — she's coming now —"

"Where did you come out?" Ron asked.

"Knockturn Alley," said Hagrid grimly.

"Excellent!" said Fred and George together.

"We've never been allowed in," said Ron enviously.

"I should ruddy well think not, enough tha' Matthew entered alone ter look fer 'im." growled Hagrid. Mrs. Weasley now came galloping into view, her handbag swinging wildly in one hand, Ginny just clinging onto the other.

"Oh, Harry — oh, my dear — you could have been anywhere —"

Gasping for breath she pulled a large clothes brush out of her bag and began sweeping off the soot Hagrid hadn't managed to beat away. Mr. Weasley took Harry's glasses, gave them a tap of his wand, and returned them, good as new.

Now that everyone was reunited the Weasley's and Harry began with their Shopping as Hermione and Matthew accompanied them. Hagrid left the Group. Meanwhile, Harry told them that he saw the Malfoy's in Borgin and Burke's and Hermione's Parents rejoined them.

First, they visited Gringotts while Matthew, Hermione, and her parents waited outside. Harry and the Weasley's visited their respective Vaults. From Gringotts on the group split up. They would meet in one hour at Flourish and Blotts. Mr. Weasley took Hermione's Parents for a drink, no doubt he wants to question them of the Non-Magical World. Matthew had no idea how someone, as interested a Mr. Weasley in the Non-Magical World, could be also so ignorant. Matthew joined Harry, Hermione, and Ron since he had almost completed his Shopping besides the books and didn't want to miss Mr. Weasley's and Mr. Malfoy's fight. He after all planned to create a Pensieve for himself soon. Oh, right and he also wants to confirm the Diary's location.

After one hour of the trio buying their School Stuff, they headed with Matthew for the Bookstore. hey were by no means the only ones making their way to the bookshop. As they approached it, they saw to their surprise a large crowd jostling outside the doors, trying to get in. The reason for this was proclaimed by a large banner stretched across the upper windows:
