Chapitre 175: A SURPRISE FROM THEODORA

It was past afternoon, and Zerith was growing restless. For the whole day, Bertha had avoided him completely. He sent messages with the maids for her. Asked her to come and meet him.

But the woman refused to reply to any of his messages or show some courtesy by coming to meet him. 

Zerith had grown so used to seeing her face every day, talking to her and touching her in this past month that he missed her badly. He wouldn't have brought up Theodora's topic if only bertha had come to him.

But Bertha's reaction and her avoidance of him made him suspicious. 

What was this secret that these women were trying to hide from him?

Zerith couldn't sit in his room for long. He decided to use the crutches and step out of his room to find Bertha. It was evening time, and if he wasn't wrong, then he should find her in Theodora's chamber.
