Matthew remains silent for a few moments, eyeing Damien's actions and this makes Damien more agitated as seconds passed by, his agitation turning into anger eventually. At this point Damien's whole body was shaking with unleashed fury.

Matthew speaks up after a few moments of silence.

"Serenity is Roman's Daughter."

A growl leaves Damien's lips before he could control himself. How could that be possible? He would've never thought his shy and innocent mate would be the daughter of that monster, the one that completely ruined his childhood and destroyed Damien's chances of having a mate.

Damien never knew that Roman had a child of his own, the only thing he knew about Roman was that his mate had passed away roughly around twenty on years ago. Although Serenity was his daughter that wouldn't stop Damien from protecting her any less. His eyes flash a black in colour as his wolf, Killian agrees with him.
