Chapitre 1588: Dog plaster

Old Master Tong's eyes turned red upon being hugged. This was more than he could ask for, however, he knew that he could not shed tears at such a joyful occasion, so he sniffed and held his tears back. 

He patted his granddaughter three times on the back before pulling back. He wanted to meet with Lin Hanjing but thought against it as Old Master Tong knew that he would be overstepping his boundaries. 

"Have a happy married life, Ah Tong," Old Master Tong blessed his granddaughter and was about to leave when he was dragged to a table by one of the elderly mers.

"Where are you going? Are you not going to eat anything? Don't leave just yet, I heard that the meal prepared for the banquet is cooked from the ingredients that the Yu family grows," the elderly mer told Old Master Tong who wanted to refuse. 

However, he didn't want to make a fuss and agreed silently when he saw that Yu Dong did not chase him out of the house.
