The Blackout Crisis

It was just a childish voice, yet it felt reliable to Cheng Yang.

Noticing that Cheng Yang had calmed down, Xiao Ying slowly dragged him towards the room.

Cheng Yang obediently followed Xiao Ying and laid down on the bed, hugging her tightly.

Xiao Ying patted him gently and said, "Brother, go to sleep. You'll be fine after you fall asleep."

As she spoke on, she seemed to have put herself to sleep too.

When she woke up the next day, she struggled to open her eyes.

She looked at Cheng Yang groggily and called, "Brother."

Cheng Yang said nothing and just continued to stare at Xiao Ying.

She looked at Cheng Yang nervously and said, "Brother, are you okay now?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," Cheng Yang replied lazily.

"Why did the electricity suddenly cut off yesterday?" Xiao Ying asked.
