Chapitre 43: Chapter 43- The Demons

“That Reiré…” I grumbled and looked around the corner, using the lantern as my light source. “Reiré! You down there?!”

My voice echoed down the dark corridor and then… Silence.

“I can’t believe she just ran like that…”

And what ghost was she even talking about? We were all alone and she suddenly just pointed at me screaming ‘Ghost!’ I am quite offended! Don’t tell me she mistaken my shadow as a ghost and ran off. How childish can she be? And here I thought I was the childish one. I also haven’t forgiven her for almost stabbing my head.

I let out a sigh. “But I can’t leave her down here alone. She’s probably crying her eyes out.”

I walked around the dungeon as the light reflected off the stone walls. Walking around alone was kind of scary, I’ll admit. Everything was dark and it felt like something could jump out at any moment.

“Reiré! This isn’t funny anymore! Where are you!?” I yelled out.
