As Lucilla's blood painted the ground in blue, she looked at Basil with widened eyes. She had been injured for the first time ever since getting out of the Obelisk, and it was hard for her to believe it.

Paying no sympathy to Lucilla's confusion ridden face, Basil swung Caliburn at her neck. A Barrier immediately appeared in front of her, unfortunately, so he ended up striking it.

Crack!

Since the Barrier wasn't strong enough to handle his swing, it immediately broke the moment Caliburn hit it. Caliburn still didn't manage to hit Lucilla despite so; the Energy explosion threw her away.

Thud. Thud.

Rolling on the ground helplessly, Lucilla clutched her opened abdomen in bewilderment. She had never expected to get injured this soon—it was somehow hard for her to cope with the reality.
