While Jason received another customer much to his surprise, Zhou Weiqing had returned to his home.
Zhou Weiqing's father was actually the Commander-in-Chief of Heavenly Bow Empire's armies, and furthermore, he was the strongest person in the whole empire and could be called its pillar.
Admiral Zhou's house was a manor with a relatively small courtyard, and the entire area was less than a thousand square meters, with around a dozen servants and without a single guard.
If they didn't witness it for themselves, no one would believe that the Heavenly Bow Empire's commander-in-chief would have a house like that.
However, Admiral Zhou had said that soldiers were meant to fight on the battlefield, and not as a guard.
Even Emperor Di Feng Ling, the emperor of the Heavenly Bow Empire and a very close friend of Admiral Zhou, had brought up to Admiral Zhou about improving or expanding his manor, but he had always rejected it.
In the empire, Admiral Zhou was one of the most respected persons, not just because he was the strongest person in the empire or the commander in chief of the army, but also because he was an extremely good role model.
With a leader like that, how could the ranking officials in the Empire dare embezzle?
"Mom, Mom, where are you?" Zhou Weiqing was very excited and shouted as soon as he entered the door.
"Huh? You bastard! You are back so early!"
Zhou Weiqing was so excited to tell his mother about the restaurant and the tasty food but he forgot about his old man who was at home. Instantly, his facial expression changed.
The little rascal was pretty quick thinking, immediately turning around, ready to run away.
But right at that moment, Admiral Zhou's angry voice sounded out once more: "You damned brat, you better get in here now! Don't make your Father, I, go out there and catch you myself."
Zhou Weiqing froze in place and knew for sure then that he had no chance to escape. Shriveling a little inside, he lowered his head and went into the backyard where he saw his old man and his mother.
"You brat sure has grown up wings, huh? Even dare to run away under my nose." Admiral Zhou shouted angrily and his foot came flying over without warning.
*Bang*
Zhou Weiqing was knocked back 5 meters, rolling on the ground before lying down there.
"En?" Admiral Zhou's eyes showed a tinge of surprise. When he had kicked Zhou Weiqing just now, he felt a rich heavenly energy from his body.
Who was Zhou Shuiniu? He was a Mid-level Zong stage Heavenly Jewel Master!
He had been training his son for the past few years so he was most aware of his state but just now he felt the presence of heavenly energy in his body.
And it was not just a little amount but he had already reached the 2nd stage. Just one more and he would be able to awaken his jewels.
Zhou Weiqing lay down on the ground, weeping as he said. "Dad, I'm wrong! Please don't beat me. I'll not run away again."
Zhou Shuiniu ignored his son's words and approached him with big steps. He immediately grabbed his hand and tried to push his heavenly energy into his body, only to be shocked.
"What the hell!..."
His surprised cry scared his wife who instantly shouted. "Why are you shouting like that, old man? What happened?"
Even Zhou Weiqing was taken aback by his father's reaction and stopped acting.
Zhou Shuiniu stared at his son for a few seconds and muttered. "His meridians?... His meridians, Wahaha..."
*Peng*
Ling Zihan, Admiral Zhou's wife couldn't control herself anymore and slammed a fist on her husband's head. "Had you lost your mind or what?"
Zhou Suiniu didn't get angry, instead, he jumped to his feet and picked up his wife. "Hahaha... it's such a joyous day. Hahaha... my son, my son... our son is not a trash anymore, haha, he's a genius amongst all genius! Wahahaha!"
"What?!" Ling Zihan cried out in surprise and asked. "What did you say? Little Fatty... he is... he can now..."
"Yes! He can cultivate now. Not only that but he is only a little away from awakening his jewels. Wahaha..." Zhou Shuiniu said and jumped around in joy.
"Alright. But at least put me down. My head is spinning."
Zhou Shuiniu was overjoyed for a few minutes before something suddenly struck him.
'Wait a minute! When I checked in the morning, his meridians were still blocked and it had only been a few hours so how did he...'
Putting down his wife, he grabbed his son's shoulders and asked with an extremely solemn expression.
"Little brat, tell me honestly what happened to you? Did you encounter something when you went out today?"
"Ehh? What do you mean, Dad? I can't understand it..." Zhou Weiqing was confused by the sudden change in his father's behavior and expression.
Zhou Suiniu narrowed his eyes and asked. "Did something happen to you? Or did someone help you?"
Zhou Weiqing was puzzled but he still didn't dare to hide anything from his father and recited all the events that occurred.
"So, you are saying that... you went out and came across a newly opened restaurant that provided free food to you?" Zhou Shuiniu was dumbfounded and said solemnly. "Do you expect me to believe such nonsense? Tell me the truth!"
He raised his hand to hit him again.
Zhou Weiqing covered his head and said quickly. "I'm telling the truth. I came back to tell Mom about it. The food at the restaurant is really tasty. If not, you will not be able to catch me."
Zhou Shuiniu stopped and thought for a moment. He was aware of the mischievous nature of his son but even then he would not lie this much in front of him.
So, the only logical answer was the mysterious restaurant owner.
Zhou Shuiniu could feel that the owner was not a simple character if possible Weiqing meeting him was all part of the owner's plan.
Zhou Shuiniu shuddered and his expression turned serious. He thought for a moment and decided to send someone to investigate first, rather than jumping straight on the guns.
He sent a message to someone to investigate the store and the owner.
