When Ling yun left the Cang Wanhe's chamber before, he put a sound recording formation there which will directly transmit any sound produced there to his ears.
So, While he was getting a blowjob from Cang yue, he was eavesdropping on the conversation between Cang Wanhe and Dongfang Xiu as well. As Ling yun learned the decision of Cang Wanhe wanting to give him the whole empire, he could barely keep his mouth from forming a creepy smile.
*I thought it would take a lot of effort and time to take over this empire. But this is too easy!!* Ling yun had already made a full set of plans to take over this empire. His plan was to first convince Cang Wanhe to declare Cang yue as his successor.
After that, Ling yun would have killed the king and make Cang yue the Empress of the kingdom. At the same time, he would have faked some assassination attempts towards her.
After facing the pressures from the nobles and constant assassination attempts, she would have been really tired and frustrated. And the only person she could turn to find some peace at that moment would have been Ling yun.
So, using her love for him, he would have then convinced her to make him the Emperor and solve all the problems for her.
Ling yun knows that it is cruel to use her especially knowing her love for him. But he has to dirty his hand sometimes in order to reach his goal.
In Ling yun's eyes, there are three types of people. First one is those people whom he considers to be the closest. He would do anything in his power to keep them safe and happy even at the cost of his life. For now, only Feng Huang managed to earn that position in his heart.
Second type of people are those whom he has taken a liking to. He would help them and even fulfill their wishes as long as it doesn't put his or his closed ones life in any kind of danger. But at the same time, he wouldn't hesitate to use them for his plans as long as it doesn't put them in any real danger. It includes all the peoples all the people that are loyal to him including Xia qingyue, Cang yue, Ling wan etc.
The rest of the people falls in the third category. It would depend on Ling yun's mood how he would act with them. He might help them or kill them if necessary. He wouldn't falter even if he has to use these people in a way that might endanger their lives.
Ling yun looked at Cang yue who is happily sucking his little brother off and sighed in relief, 'It's good that I don't have to do that anymore. Even though I don't love Cang yue, I have come to like her a lot over the years. Since Cang Wanhe already agreed to hand over the empire, I will try my best keep her happy in the future.'

Ling yun was called again to the King's chamber after Cang Wanhe finished his discussion with Dongfang Xiu.
"You said you have something important to discuss with me. I have already confirmed the authenticity of your report. So, you can tell what is it that you wanted to discuss?" Cang Wanhe asked Ling yun.
LIng yun planned to discuss about putting Cang yue in the throne. But now that it is no longer necessary, he changed the topic and said, "It's about Cang yue. I want to take her with me in order to avoid all the conflicts that are going on in the royal family."
Cang wanhe smiled hearing that and thought, 'At least he cares for her. Now I don't have to worry about her safety by leaving her in LIng yun's hand.'
"Hahaha....So it is about my precious daughter. You can take her with you to live in the Heavenly sword villa as it will be more safe for her there. But before that, I have something important to tell or rather give you."
"What is it, your majesty?" Even though Ling yun was aware of what Cang wanhe is going to give him, he kept his face stoic without showing any emotion.
"I am planning to give this empire to you in exchange for one condition." Cang wanhe said while looking for any emotional change in Ling yun. He was satisfied seeing Ling yun showing a surprised face.
"Did I hear that correctly, your majesty?" Ling yun asked while faking a surprised expression. Otherwise, it might have have given out that he knew about this beforehand.
"Yes, you heard it correctly. I will announce it to the public tomorrow. Though I have a condition before that." Cang Wanhe stated
"Please tell me. I will try my best to fulfill it as long as it doesn't go against my morals." Ling yun replied.
"It's nothing serious. I just want you to promise me that you will look after Cang yue and keep her happy." Cang wanhe said that with serious tone.
"Don't worry, I will. After all, she is going to be my wife after a year."
"Than I can rest assured. Dongfang, inform all the nobels and officials to be present in the throne room tomorrow. Also, imprison those two unfilial sons for me. I will declare their punishment tomorrow." Cang wanhe released a sad sigh after delivering the command.
"As for how to deal with the other traitors, I would leave it up to you, Ling yun. It should help you demonstrating your majesty to the normal people and stabilize your throne." Cang wanhe said.
"Thank you for your thoughtfulness, your majesty." Ling yun politely replied as he bid his farewell.

After coming back to Heavenly sword villa with Cang yue, he first prepared a room for her. Ling yun then called Ling wan, Xia Qingyue and Xia yuanba to his chamber.
"...So, this is what happened. I will be becoming the emperor of this kingdom very soon. I am sure other sects will not take it well when they hears this news. If they oppose me, I want you to keep the army ready to face any situations." LIng yun looked at Xia yuanba when he said the last sentence.
Over the years, Xia yuanba not only became strong in strength but also in warfare tactics with the help of Ling yun and Ling wan. Since Ling yun knows Xia yuanba is loyal to him, he deciede to make Xia yuanba the commander in chief for the army few years ago. And now it is time for him show his capabilities to the world.
Ling yun then looked toward Xia qingyue and said, "I have a important task for you as well. I want you spread the rumors regarding the treachery of Xiao sect and Burning heaven clan to the whole kingdom. By tomorrow, they must totally lose their respect from the hearts of all people."
"It will be done." Xia Qingyue replied straightforwardly. She is now the third strongest person in Ling yun's rank. Specially with the awakening of heart of the snow glazed glass, her intelligence has become pretty much unrivaled in the whole cosmos. Over the years, Ling yun has managed to open up to her and get her trust. That's why, he decided to leave the intelligence organization named 'Shadow' in her hands.
And she didn't disappoint him either. In just a few years, she managed make 'Shadow' so big that even the sacred grounds aren't out of it's reach, So, spreading rumors in a small kingdom would be very easy for her.
Lasty Ling yun looked at Ling wan and gave him a few written papers and said, "I will be creating a new system after abolishing all the sects including Heavenly sword villa. The elaborate plan is written in the paper. Make preparations for that and if anyone obstruct you, send that person to me."
