Phil let his lips slide slowly down Dilan's neck, to the vein that was pulsing at the base of his neck, and he then inhaled his scent which intoxicated his Drakonit side so much that he couldn't stop his transformation.

He swore and moved away from Dilan before he could no longer control himself.

He didn't want to mark him without his consent and if he marked him and Dilan rejected him at the end, it meant that he could never be attracted to anyone else...

As Phil struggled to keep some semblance of control, Dilan turned around surprised that Phil had released him so suddenly, but when he saw that he had turned back into a Drakonit right after inhaling his scent, the words Phil had just said echoed in his head.

And indeed, he was smarter than that...
