Chapitre 72: Bodyguard or stalker?
The handsome CEO Thorin Loong had appeared in front of Zi Mei's house, yet again. She asked him why is he there again, the second time in two days, when they had only met for the first time yesterday.
He merely told her that he was checking on her and that he had brought a bodyguard to make sure that she is safe. A tall, thin man came out of Thorin Loong's car and introduced himself as Lim, who will be her bodyguard.
"What? Bodyguard for me? This is insane, why are you doing this?" she asked. This is so over the top, she didn't even know what to make of it. It was one thing that he came over to 'check on her' but quite another to station one of his own bodyguards with her to 'keep her safe'. They are practically strangers.
"Lim is here to make sure those gangsters don't come back to threaten you," Thorin Loong replied.
