"If you're leaving-! Then take me with you."

The beast-girl didn't let go of my hand, staring intently into my eyes. I never considered the thought of bringing this girl with me knowing the other children here would miss her presence.

Take Katia with me- to the castle? 

To the capital city? 

"I'm not sure- wouldn't the children here miss you? If you leave then who will take care of them?" I asked, I really didn't want to bring Katia anywhere near the servant life in the capital. 

She's way better off here, free and no one to judge her every action. 

"I… I know but I want to be your blade- I want to help you make your country better. If you will need me I will protect you-"
