Chapitre 16: Acquired Orc minions
The structure of this cave was like a big hemispherical shaped with the size of the big football stadium, this Orc cave is well hidden, inside the first cave is another hidden tunnel behind that thrown chair which will lead you to this big cave and the whole village of Orcs who settled down here.
Lots of Orcs live in this big cave, they made some room-size small cave around the wall, they also tried to mimic human village.
All the Orcs who gathered here when I killed those Orcs were looked very weak, it seemed most of them were suffering from malnutrition they looked opposite of the Orcs I had killed till now.
The Orcs who live in this cave are mostly the elders, women, children, and injured males. Since they didn't try to run from me and did not seem to pose any threat to us that is why I didn't kill them immediately.
They are no threat to the village for now but those Orcs kids will grow and might be become strong one day. They all gathered here because of all those agonizing screams of the Orcs that I killed.
I can't tell whether they were trembling because of fear or because they were weak because of lack of food. Though I know they were scared of me and that was reasonable because they all saw with their own eyes how I killed those Orcs and they probably would have understood by now that I have killed their leader too after all his throne was placed in front of the tunnel entrance and without his permission no can enter in this cave.
There are at least a hundred of them, I sighed because looks like it will take some more time to clean all of them, it's a good thing they all gathered in one place and they are not that strong either so it'll not take that much time and effort.
I was just about to use my magic to kill them when an elder-looking Orc came out of the crowd, he was looking very weak and walking with the help of a stick, his back was quite bent which shows that he is the oldest Orc. He is quite skinny and trembling quite a lot, I can't tell if the cause of his trembling is old age or fear? He came close to me and said.
"Plea.. please don't kill us." The elder Orc said this.
That elder Orc and the crowd of Orcs was looked at my way with the expectation of forgiveness. Seeing that I'm not fully convinced got tensed, he again started to plead.
"…please don..don't kill us, we will do anything, please spar.. spare us. We are not subordinate of that noble Orc, we have nothing to do with them." That old Orc plead seemed genuine to me to not kill them and something surprised me.
Although I was surprised to know that they were not subordinates of that noble Orc, however, what surprised me more is that seeing him talking in human language, I am surprised, but the more surprised one was Kristen because for us humans they are savage monsters who only know one thing, attacking humans.
Seeing them pleading like this, Kristin Kristin got emotional and couldn't able to control herself and said. "Hey, why don't you spare them? they're weak and can't fight with you and they are not dangerous too."
Although I have already dropped the idea of killing them but aren't you the one who was seeing all that massacre just a moment ago without any problem and now you're stopping me from killing these monsters, just forget it though I wanted to stay here for a little longer, however, since it's already very late that why I decided to get back home, guessing that I forgave them that old Orc said. "Oh great one we are very grateful that you showed us mercy, we'll always be grateful to you." His words seemed like he was trying to butter me.
He continues saying, "Oh great one can you give us the body of the Pigheads that you have killed just now." I don't know what will they do with their bodies but I returned the buried Orcs' bodies to them.
It made me curious so I just asked them what will they with them, I guessed that maybe they will give a different type of funeral that's why they want the dead Orc bodies but my guess was completely wrong, I was surprised when he told me what he will do with the bodies.
"We will eat them since we don't have anything else to eat." The old Orc said without any hesitation.
"Although we don't have anything to give you in exchange, however, we are willing to pledge our loyalty to you and serve you, I know we will not be much help to you but please the children need food to eat." The elder orc said in a sad tone.
They look very weak and I also know that they will die from starvation so if I don't give them the bodies to eat, I couldn't just leave them to their condition and go home?
He said they are willing to serve me should I take them as my subordinate, they can help me to guard our village from shadow and can prevent many attacks. But it can also turn bad what is the guaranty that when they get stronger they will not try to attack the villagers.
It's not that easy to just accept them as subordinates, I also have to find a way to make them strong. Should I use my mana to make them strong and if they try anything funny when they get stronger then I will take care of them immediately.
I used my magic to roast the bodies and gave them since I didn't want them to eat something raw in front of me, their eyes got bright after eating their own kind, I guess they liked its taste since it smells just like pork than it also tastes like it.
After they finished all the food(Orcs) I discussed the mana transfer to the old Orc and he said only one thing while he kneeled in front of me, "Oh great one..no master we already swear our loyalty to you. We'll do anything as commands us to do." The old Orc said.
Seeing him kneeling in front of me everyone do the same thing.
