I felt so terrified when I saw Megan crying and looking at me with sadness in her eyes. I thought she would run away from me, but I felt so relieved that her feet remained footed on the floor. I know Megan was hurting since she heard my father's hurtful words, and I couldn't believe my dad didn't wait the night to pass without telling me what he wanted. I know that I have insulted my father, and I hurt him when I introduced Megan to them in front of all the guests.
