Chapitre 1: Chapter 1
East Blue. Crook Island.
Like its name, this island was filled with all types of crooked people who seemed to have discarded their humanity.
The island was small and had only one town which was ruled by a ferocious Bandit Group lead by One Eyed Lucious who was a wanted man with 7 million berri bounty on his head.
The East Blue was the weakest sea in this world and the bounty of 20 million was seen as highest class here. So Lucius who had 7 million bounty was already a very strong criminal in the eyes of people of the sea.
The town was filled with low lives and they continued to terrorize the civilians who lived in this town in constant fear.
Ever since Luscious claimed the town as his territory, the assaults on the civilians had greatly lessened in number but it did not mean that their lives had become any better.
In fact their lives had become worse instead because they were forced to offer weekly tribute to the bandits in exchange for their lives.
Naturaly those who failed to produce enough money ( tribute ) were humiliated and killed as an example to other civilians. The people of this town barely made some money by selling fish and embroidery to nearby islands. So the weekly forced tribute forced them to starve all the time.
Marines seemed to be working together with the bandits too so the town's people had long ago discarded any Hopes for arrival of some hero who would save them.
Today a teenager called Sam D World was brutally beaten up by the bandits in the middle of town plaza because he had the guts to report the wrongdoings of the bandits to marine base located on a nearby island.
Sadly his bravery act turned out to be useless because the marines actualy relayed his information back to the bandits instead without a second thought. Nobody stood up for the young hero as they just watched him getting beaten up brutally. Sam was then thrown into the forest located at foot of the sole mountain of the island like a piece of trash.
Nobody tried to save him and his life slowly left from his body.

Inside the lush green forest surrounded by tall and thick trees, Sam sat on the ground cross legged while hugging his head feeling extreme pain as memories gushed inside his mind.
The pain lasted for barely ten seconds but to him it felt like years of torment had passed.
When it ended, he could not help but gasp violently for air while his body was filled with cold sweat.
' Phew.. I thought that I would die again after just crossing over haha.. ' he smiled bitterly and next moment started wincing from the intense pain coming from the countless blunt wounds on his new body.
Soon his eyes turned called as he remembered the brutal beating the previous owner of this body had to suffer in the hands of cruel bandits who seemed to enjoying hearing his screams instead.
Yes. The old Sam was already gone from this world and his body was possessed by an Otaku from Earth who coincidently had the same first name.
The Sam from Earth had just died in a car accident and next moment opened his eyes in completely different world inside a different and younger body.
When Sam rememberd his past life where he found everything boring and dull, now he chose to forget those times. Now his current situation may be bad but he was still alive in a world where he could gain superhuman strength and go to an adventure!
Sam studied the memories of this body in more depth ignoring the pain from the blunt wounds as he knew that no bones seemed to be broken so he would start walking when he recovered enough strength to walk on his two feet.
As he continued to read the memories, he could not help but feel more and more disgusted by what he was seeing.
Bandits were naturaly cruel so he could somewhat accept that but its turned out that the seemingly helpless town's people were quite cruel themselves.
Apparently Sam was an orphan since the age of three. His parents were killed one day when they were trying to leave the island in secret for the sake of better future of Sam.
The one who sold them to the bandits was actualy mayor of the town. Sam learned this truth just today when the bandits who were beating him, found this fact somehow funny and told him with sadistic grins on their shit faces.
The other town's people were not greedy for small money like the mayor but they were too weak in Sam's opinion. He did not mean physically but their mindset was too weak instead.
Bandits had guns and swords. So what? In the end there were more than two thousand green men in the town while bandits barely numbered 70 something.
Sam refused to believe that 2000 unarmed people cant deal with 70 bandits even though they had advantage of some weapons.
The town's people just did not have courage to risk their lives and Sam disdained them in his heart for this fact.
Heck.. these people could reduce more numbers of the bandits if they just poisoned their food! But no.. the town's people were used to living like shit now. So such a simple idea did not even cross their minds.
Sam did not have any pity for these weaklings who dont possess courage to risk and try to fight for their freedom. Even the old Sam who had died today was just a 15 year old young teenager but he at least some courage in his heart.
Nothing special was found in rest of the broken memories, so Sam stopped reading them and decided to rest until his body gains some strength.
He stood up without hesitation but could not take a step forward because he was assaulted with intense pain and numb muscles. He wanted to move but it did not look like it even such a simple thing was possible for him for a while.
In the end he had no choice but to sit back on his butt and wait for some time.

The sudden notifications stunned Sam as he froze on his spot.
He was not feeling scared of the robotic voice inside his head because he had an idea about it. It was the legendary system! The golden figure for reincarnators from novels!
Sam did not doubt its existence even for a second because he had crossed over to a world which he thought only existed in fiction before. So a system awakening did not seem anything strange to him at all.
Sam suddenly broke out in a huge grin and wanted to laugh but after just a second, pain came and caused him to calm down. Damn it. He could not even laugh easily with his current body condition.
Sam hoped that he could get something from the system which could heal his wounds as he remembered that he seemed to have heard about a Gift Pack.
He did not waste anymore time and closed his eyes. As expected , the system screen appeared when he just thought about it.
Sam tried to call the system for instructions but even after a minute , no voice came in response. He did not mind much because the system seemed to simple enough so that he can easily use it without any instructions.
There were was a blue panel inside his mind on which only four options were listed up.

Sam was tempted to click on Shop icon and see what he could buy but stopped himself as he did not seem to posses any shop points right now. Instead he decided to see what his Gift Pack had to offer immediately as curiosity was killing him.
Sam mentally clicked on the Inventory tab and the the precious options vanished.
INVENTORY ( Can be used to store non living objects and there is no limit to storage space. Time stops for the items while they are stored inside inventory space ) :

Sam could not help but feel happy when he read that his inventory had unlimited space. In future it would be easy for him to even store his ship inside it as there seemed to be no limits for size of the item either.
Sure enough currently one single item was mentioned so Sam immediately clicked on Gift Pack immediately.
The previous tabs once again vanished and Sam could see three items names listed.
1x Kekkei Genkai Lottery Token
1x Chakra Pill
1000x Kunai and Shuriken
Sam was getting more and more excited by the moment as he read the item descriptions.
Apparently the Token was a single time use item with which he could gain a single Kekei Genkai. Which one he would gain, would depend on luck.
Kunai and Shuriken were essentially basic throwing weapons for shinobi and he had gotten 1000 each for free.
The last item was chakra pill which Sam needed to consume as soon as possible. The reason was because only after consuming this special pill, could he gain chakra network in his body and unlock his chakra.
Sam of course wanted to eat it immediately but was hesitating because he did not know whether the process of gaining chakra veins network would hurt or not. Sam was already experiencing intense pain from the wounds on his body so more pain would sure cause him to collapse. He didn't want to loose his conscious inside the forest as he knew from the memories that beasts lived here.
Sam thought for more than ten minutes and in the end gritted his teeth and decided to eat the Chakra Pill immediately. After all he could not move his body anyway so it did not matter if he envountered beasts as he would die easily in both cases.
He had made up his mind so mentally clicked on the Chakra Pill in the list without hesitation
and next moment , a small thumb sized light blue magically appeared out of nowhere in his right hand.
Sam wanted to get this over with as soon as possible so popped the pill in his mouth and swallowed it immediately without caring about tasting it.
Few seconds passed and nothing happened. Sam was becoming confused but suddenly he could think anymore as he felt burning sensation in his stomach area and soon the pain became so unbearable that he lost consciousness.
Hours passed and Sam still did not show any signs of waking up. But his breathing became more and stable with time and the blunt wounds were healing gradually. Sam would definitely have become overjoyed if he knew that the wounds which caused him headache were healing already and he wont have to worry about them anymore after waking up.
