Chapitre 156: XVI: Dreams

I found myself in my mental landscape, not knowing how I had gotten there. My last memory was of me going to sleep the day after the first bout. I had kept up my routine of training in seclusion, meditating and building my inner strength through elemental breathing, I wanted to begin working on the wood element, because of what Shen Mu had told me about it: it dramatically enhanced the healing capabilities of my body, and the second bout was approaching fast.

I looked around in my mindscape, but there was nothing out of place; everything was as it had been as I left it, this evening before bed.

“What am I doing here?” I asked to nobody in particular and got no immediate answer, not even from Selene. I shook my head and tried getting out, but found myself stuck, which made me growled in frustration “Now what did you get yourself into, Shixian?”

As I shook my head, I glimpsed something different, and I turned in that direction.
