Chapitre 55: Chapter 55: Judy's Leaving

The fall semester ended, and Sue was not admitted. Her funding request was rejected as being a late application, and no room for new funding for this term. However, she was guaranteed a scholarship and a departmental internal grant for the spring semester.

During these months, Sue tried several options to cover her expenses. Although Judy took full responsibility for Sue’s expenses, Sue did not like being dependent.

Judy understood how Sue felt about receiving monetary help from her, so she tried different ways to support her.

Judy encouraged Sue to sell her artwork. Sue usually participated in art galleries and exhibitions but she never tried to sell them outside these events.
