Chapitre 15: The clash between psychic and dragon
The hour has passed for the competition break. I visited Stacy to make sure see was okay.
Sadly the doctors won't be able to reattach her arm or anything. Even though this is a magical world there is still limits to it.
The only pokemon that could probably have a chance to fix her condition would be one of the legendary pokemon.
The chances of us finding one willing to help is very slim right now. But I'll place that in the back of mind to fix later.
As for the perpetrator at hand Brandon he is being sent to a maximum security prison. I sighed knowing he is not the first or is going to be last to commit actions such as this.
Him taking off Stacy arm is a wake up call for me and honestly the whole world. Even though these magical creatures have arrived at our world they are still dangerous none the less.
Getting my mind back together I saw that a alarm rang on my phone it was time to go back to the event.
I still have to be there for my cousin. To see her compete for the right of a psychic gym.
Calling out metang we teleported back to the venue as I made the next announcement.
"I'm sorry for the recent actions that happened at the event. It is a very saddening thing that another human can commit this action."
Putting on a serious face I spoke my next set of words.
"But while this is a tragedy. I can also say this a wake up call for the whole world."
I let the crowd die down a moment from the loud cries of disbelief.
"Hear me out before you say anything else. We have been taking this matter of pokemon to lightly do you think this matter of pokemon is all peaceful."
"Well if you think so it's not. While we may be blessed with these magical beings as partners it can also be a curse."
"You see ever since the birth of human civilization there has been greed. There is many examples depicting this so called greed throughout the years."
"From kings fighting over territory to the poorest of humans fighting over there next meal. What do you think will happen now that this world has pokemon.
"It may be fun in the beginning but the future will have battles that we may have to face against other countries for things such as land, pokemon, treasure and many more."
"Now I don't know when this will happen but it may come soon in the near future. So I hope you all take this time to realize the truth of this world."
"But let me end my talking and speak on the matter at hand. The final battle will be between nami reid who is representing the reid family at this event and the opposing trainer bill starks who is the son of a governor.
Battle start:
Nami:Come on out bronzor show them your strength.
On Nami side came a mirror like pokemon which was known as bronzor. This pokemon is actually quite rare to find.
Bill:axew show them your power use dragon breath
A stream of purple energy was sent hurling stones bronzor ready to strike.
Nami:bronzor use protect
A barrier rises up around bronzor taking the dragon breath.
Nami:now use psychic slam axew into the ground.
Axew was surround by a blue as it was lifted up and repeatedly slammed into the ground.
This caused a significant amount of damage to axew.
Bill:Get up and use fire fang axew
Axew began to rush towards bronzor with its teeth ablaze. Ready to rip bronzor apart.
Nami tried to call out for bronzor to dodge but it was to no avail as she was to late.
Bronzor was bit harshly by axew causing burn damage to bronzor. This attack caused bronzor to be damaged heavily.
Nami:don't give up bronzor use sunny day followed by solar beam.
The sky began to beam with the sun energy. Then next up bronzor used solar beam gathering the suns energy boosting its attack power.
A powerful beam of energy was sent out towards axew. Bill seeing the incoming damage called out.
Bill:Axew use dragon pulse full power.
A powerful ball of energy built up in axew mouth as it was sent towards the solar beam.
The moves clashed for a minute as it was unclear of which would win until solar beam finally broke through and struck axew.
Knocking it out in the process.
Nami:Good job bronzor
Bill:Come back and have a good rest axew. Come on out gabite.
The familiar shark like pokemon people seen from a previous battle came out roaring for battle.
Bill:Let's start things off gabite use dragon pulse.
Nami:use solar beam once again
The same moves came at each other once again. But this time the results were different dragon pulse over powered the solar beam in every way.
The dragon pulse struck bronzor as it was knocked out.
Nami:It seems I'll have to take this serious come on out Kirlia.
The rare psychic pokemon came to the field as it stood like a Queen ready to control the battle field.
The crowed looked in anticipation as to who will win this next battle.
Nami:kirlia use psybeam
A beam of pure psychic energy began to release at it flew towards gabite at high speeds.
Bill:gabite use dig to escape. Then use fire fang
Gabite burrowed under the ground barley dodging the psybeam. While kirlia was busy sensing for gabite.
Gabite wasted no time and struck kirlia with a powerful fire fang.
Nami:shake it off kirlia use psychic on gabite followed by psybeam.
Gabite this time was unable to dodge as it was sent into the air as then struck by a beam of psychic energy.
This attack damaged gabite heavily.
Bill:gabite don't give in use flamethrower full power. A powerful jet of flames flew towards kirlia.
Nami:use light screen to block it.
A thin shield was displayed in front of kirlia as it took most of the attack but kirlia was still slightly injured.
Bill:Gabite keep on use double dragon pulse
Two powerful balls of dragon energy was sent in kirlia direction.
Nami knowing she couldn't stop the incoming attack thought fast.
Nami:Kirlia use destiny bond
The dragon pulses struck kirlia as she went down for the count but the opposing gabite also did.
The crowd looked on confused on what happened so i stepped in to explain.
"This move makes it so that when the pokemon that uses this move goes down. The opponent pokemon will also."
The crowd all thought that It's a pretty cruel move but is also effective.
But back to the battle.
Nami:Thank you for your sacrifice it won't be in vain kirlia. Come on out espeon.
The cat like evolution of eevee arrived on the field.
Bill:I didn't know we were playing those kind of tactics. Come on out dragnoair.
The rare and elegant dragon pokemon was released to the field. It is rumored that dragonairs hold the power to control the weather.
Nami:Espeon use energy ball.
A ball of energy was sent in dragonair direction.
Bill:Dragonair use icebeam to cancel it out.
A beam of ice struck the energy ball canceling it out in a explosion.
Bill:Now follow up with thunder
The sky began to get cloudy as a huge beam of electricity came down ready to strike espeon.
Nami held a calm face as she called her next move.
Nami:Use psychic to send the thunder at dragonair
To everyone surprise the thunder was curved as it flew towards dragonair striking it head on.
Dragonair suffered a lot of damage from this attack.
Bill:Don't give up dragonair use double dragon pulse.
To balls of dragon energy flew at espeon at high speeds striking espeon leaving espeon injured.
Nami:espeon teleport behind dragonair then use hyperbeam.
Espeon flashed behind dragonair then unleashed a powerful beam of energy towards dragonair.
Bill:counter with ice beam
Both attacks collided as they battled eachother for dominance but ice beam came out in the end striking espeon.
Leaving it struggling to get up.
Nami:espeon stay in there we must win this. Use triple shadow ball.
Three balls of dark energy was sent flying towards dragonair as they combined becoming even bigger.
Bill knew dragonair didn't have enough energy to perform a double dragon pulse so he called out his next move.
Bill:Use flamethrower full power
The moves once again clashed. Bill flamethrower was extremely powerful but the combined effort of three shadow balls was to much to handle as dragonair was struck.
Both pokemon were struggling and heavily breathing from the cost of the attacks and the damage they took.
Their trainers even were sweating from the battle that was going on.
Nami:Put your all in this last attack use psychic wave.
Bill:Dragonair you to use ice age
A powerful wave of psychic began to come off of espeon as it cracked the ground from the gravity it was applying down. This was the move that me and Nami were working on for this tournament.
From dragonair it shocked me very much seeing as it could use ice moves to this degree. A dominant power of ice rushed forward as it froze everything in its path.
The crowd could even feel the coldness from the move. I had to call out metang to form a barrier protecting the people.
The two attacks finally began to go against each other with no intentions of backing down.
From the two attacks being so powerful it's caused a loud explosion as a lot of smoke rises up blocking our view.
Once the smoke cleared after a few minutes we all looked down at the battle to see the winner.
Standing up weakly but victorious was Nami and her espeon.
Battle end
The crowd cheered not just for Nami but for bill also. They showed a great deal of power from not just their last two pokemon but from all three.
This battle will be sure to go down in history.
Making my way down I gave the final speech.
"Thank you all for taking the time to come out here and watch this great battle. Even if you are a winner or a loser you have shown the power that you and your pokemo hold."
"With that I would like to say that official gym leader tournament is over."
After the few words I spoke fireworks began to go off as the crowd celebrated from the great battle they have just watched.
