Chapitre 87: 87) Going Home

"Thank you sir. The room has been prepared for you. Please follow me," the hostess smiled kindly as she led me to the elevator. A few floors later and a quick room tour I was left alone in my hotel room. 

I simply explored the suite for a few minutes not knowing what to do. A huge part of me wanted me to go back to Edward and just accept whatever apology he gave me but I deserved better than that. 

What Edward had said and how he treated me was completely wrong. To make me feel like how my father had all those years ago was cruel. I knew he was hurting and I was patient with him. I held him till he cried himself to sleep. I made sure he ate even when he refused to so he could stay healthy. 

I had noticed that he was not taking his medication but figured he was a grown man. He could figure out the consequences to that. For a minute I wondered if he had lashed out because of that, but I knew it was unlikely.
