Chapitre 7: Entry 6 - A quick look (Coco)
My first day in the inn is over and I was honestly super nervous. I applied for a position as a manager but seeing as the place was pretty tiny, I had no clue what I was managing. Maybe deliveries? Or human resources, though I highly doubted that; maybe it's marketing, I'm quite confident in getting a lot of people's attention.
Though none of these was the case.
When I got there all rearing to go, the plan wasn't even to work in the inn. Shocker since I'm pretty sure they had guests.
Anyway, my new boss dragged me and Aloe somewhere deep in the forest. Quite the view, it was like walking through something out of a fairy tale. I swear it felt like Narnia.
When we finally got to where we needed to go, only one thing crossed my mind:
"Are we doing a drug deal?"
Seriously I was taken to an old house with vines, cracked walls and windows. Like what the fuck?
So this place was actually where everyone from Hololive would be staying. At first, I thought the guy was crazy, but quickly calmed down when he mentioned we were only there to get a first look and that it was getting renovated soon.
Thank god it was. It honestly looked like a haunted house, a group of teenagers would use for a summer test of courage.
While looking around, the boss mentioned something about needing to make sure he makes the necessary calls so that the space in the building can be utilised well and fit everyone. I didn't quite get why he would say that since the place looked big enough. I asked him about it but the actual bedrooms were upstairs and if everyone was to get one, then only about half would get one.
I asked what we were going to do about it and the boss said he'll ask some magically adept friends to help out and make some space for them.
Don't know what that meant, but I do now know that my boss has some connections. Well, I guess that was a given considering the employees in the inn were all creatures from different worlds.
I wanted to go inside, but apparently, it was so ruined that it provided a lot of safety hazards, so the boss said no.
I guess today was just a check of the place since straight afterwards we just went back to the inn and went on to work normally.
Because I was new, I was told to just help and shadow Aloe-chan, or I guess it's Aloe-senpai now.
I don't know, too much thinking. All in all, it was a weird start to my new job, that's the bottom line.
