"Well now, this is an interesting update." Deliah sounded surprised, but she grinned at me nonetheless.

"Hmm." Grantham hummed again, as he looked between me and Makai, who had stepped away from me just a little bit when he noticed my family. 

That didn't help at all though, since they had already seen his arm around my waist and the loving way I was looking into his eyes.

"Hmm." Grantham hummed again as he looked between us, but this time there was a smile forming on his lips. Every time that he looked between us the smile seemed to grow bigger and bigger.

After a moment or two, long after it had become uncomfortable, my sister in-law, Rachel, broke the near perfect silence in the house.

"Ocean, I am so happy to see you." She came waddling toward me, her huge baby belly swaying from side to side.
