Synopsis
On the night when the saviour of the wizarding world was supposed to be born, Harry Potter the saviour was killed by the Unforgivable Curse.
The man who had made almost all wizards in Britain fear to call him by his name, regained the intelligence and ambition that had been rightfully his from the Horcruxes.
Darkness completely enveloped the island of Great Britain.
Wizards were divided by bloodlines, with purebloods firmly holding the power that belonged to those at the top, and those who were known as mudbloods were left to spend their lives as humble as mud to be trampled on.
The Ministry of Magic, where justice should be served, is filled with evil villains, and the castle, where knowledge should be taught, is filled with oppression.
It was in this grim time.
Jon Green, who has transmigrated, is brought into the fugitive carriage that carries on the true spirit of Hogwarts.......

Écrire un avisLove the story. I have nerver seen a hp topic like that i hope you wont drop this.........................................................................
Writing Quality (2/5) - Effort has been put into the translation, which is great, but it still reads VERY clearly as a translation. There are sentences like “Ron Weasley’s palpitating face” that really ruin the immersion for me personally. Also, LOTS of tell not show throughout this fic. Tons of info dumps and monologues that I could do without. Updating Stability (5/5) - No complaints. Keep up the great work! Story Development (3/5) - Unqiue, interesting, different from the majority… but super bland sometimes simultaneously. Don’t know how to better describe it. Character Design (2/5) - Again, lots of tell not show. Character’s emotions are TOLD rather than expressed, at least that is what I have found. World Background (4/5) - Concept is dope, as previously stated. OVERALL SCORE (3.2) - An average fic to stave off your boredom. The only thing that bugs me is that I feel it could be so much more. But hey, that’s just my opinion. I would like to say to the translator that I think they’ve done well, all things considered.
Amazing premise and sounds great so far but im hoping he can sneak into hogwarts to the ROR sometime and that they fight fire with fire and end up with a dead voldie and all his death eaters and supporters
Spoiler de révélationHonest review up to chapter 45. I tried reading this 9 month ago, it was dark, it was slow, I gave up on chapter 3. I came back, I read to 45. tldr: Don't recommend if you like a competent MC with some ambition and can't tolerate one that was an adult but doesn't act or thinks like one. The "cheat" the MC got is original and built into the world, and makes you keep thinking: This is stupid, how is this an advantage? The premise is unique, first time I read no Harry Potter or variation or prophecy of some kind (as of chapter 45). Writing quality 4/5 - No typos. Grammar is not great, grammar alone is 3/5. Readable but you are constantly aware its not natural. Updates 5/5 - Wish every novel was like this. Story 2/5 Character 2/5 World 1/5 All three tie together. The progress is slow, bloated with description of everything, anything to add words. The story starts with a unique premise, it also builds some expectations: A transmigrator that is familiar with the original story, formerly an adult (allegedly), you expect that as an adult thrown into a dangerous world and finding he has magic he would be the definition of cliche MC and start is training montage and never stop? This MC can be described as: Takes if bloody fkcing time. He does NOT act like he was ever an adult, unless he was the delusional kind that has zero understanding how the real world is. Point, not one you would enjoy reading if you like a capable, competent MC. The author points out, mocks in a way, how the original story was riding the plot armor. It very much feels like the author created this twisted world then somehow tried to maintain the same plot line: The stone, the attacks (troll in the original, DE in this one), it does not work. To add to this, the characters have not changed at all due to their bad life, the same "light" faction and don't kill, the same: Teach them slowly over 7 years. The kids are the same, like the MC, none of them any sort of ambition to grow stronger, to be fighters, to get ready. You would expect hard training to be basically soldiers or fighters, nope, start with lumos. Point is, other than this world being darker, the premise of the story has zero impact on actions and thoughts of people. At times Dumby is shows as being... dumb, to a degree you have to ask: How did they survive so far? Plot armor, all the time and lots of it. The MC has no cheat, he is somewhat talented in magic. The author decided to make up some weird artifact that allows the MC to cast magic on himself, like the levitation charm which normally does not work, but its hard, the MC will spend the better part of 20 chapters to get it somewhat to work, its poorly explained and the comments are full with: this makes no sense. This could have been great, in fact, just making the MC better would have resolved most of the issues, but he is not better and its not great. The worse part: The translator spends so much time translating what I can only consider as a sub par story, its not really a fanfic with how much things were changed.
Spoiler de révélationChapters read at the time of this review: 363 You can skip the rant below if you just want a quick rundown of my general opinion of the story. The rant ends after the parentheses. Rant about the top review: (I can without a doubt say that the top review on this by Limitleess is wrong and if you don't read this book because of it you are doing yourself a disservice. This book may start off shaky but the points listed in his review are only based very early on, he was only discussing a few of the heavier topics that were there to show just how bad the situation in the wizarding world really is at that point and doesn't even last that long. The book generally calms down on the darker stuff like that after the Hogwarts infiltration arc. If you actually read books online long enough then you will find this level of dark topics and story as child's play compared to some of the truly dark stories that I've seen online and can wholeheartedly say that this book at least a good one with dark tones that fit the storyline and aren't dark for the sake of dark, but instead have significant base in the story and is even explained the reasoning of which later.) The only thing that I really think could turn someone off of this book other than the slightly darker tones of the book is that you can tell the book was made with some influence of Chinese novels given some of the sayings and references made in the book but not to the point of it being overbearing, just noticeable if you read them. in other words at least from me, definitely a WORTHWHILE READ. I just have to wait for every update now though.
ill come back to this after it breaks 200 chapter the chapters is quite short so its better to stack them more before you read, aside from that this ff is great and really different from the canon
I tried to give it more chances, but now I'm wondering, if you're translating books, why don't you go and choose only the best ones to translate, you too will have realized that this is not a good book, so why continue?
I would recommend this book. it has a unique take on harry potter that i atleast haven't read before. i also like how it is one of the few complete novel since many remain unfinished. you will not waste your time reading it. one complaint I might have is that others characters are not developed much. the focus is completely on mc throughout the novel with Dumbledore being the only other character to make regular appearances. others just appear for their arc and then get a couple lines here and there. still this novel is worth a read.
The fanfic is certainly unique but it doesn't give reincarnated MC vibes. I think you should give him more power and competency despite his young age. Overall it's a nice fanfic and I hope you see it to the end. Good luck🍀
this is a whole different book than the other fanfics out there, great formating and interesting premise
Honestly, everything about the story except the ending was perfect. The MC was good, so was his growth, the subtle romance, the bits and pieces of comedy, etc. However the ending seemed a bit rushed as MC Avatar Aang'ed Voldemort. The writing quality is and has been superb throughout the whole novel. With the update being about 2 everyday. It is one of my top 3 HP fanfics along with 'Harry Potter and the Rise of the Protector' and 'HP: The Arcane Thief'. Would definitely recommend.
Spoiler de révélationit's sad that I finished binge reading this in two days but holy, that was a nice read. Overall I'd say this book is great but nothing's perfect. I really liked the early design of the main characters way of learning but I'd like to see more it seemed like there was one wengardium and counter and that's it. Even though why this happened makes sense but it kinda feels like making good excuses. Overall the ride was fun now I'm hoping for more. Keep up the good work and keep on improving. Good job buddy.
Spoiler de révélationInteresting angle for a fanfic of Harry Potter. A world where harry potter doesn't exist any more and Voldy has taken control of the magic community. This depicts a dark atmosphere for the MC adventure and hopefully, he'll be able to impact the world enough to brighten it. Only real question is: Do the MC has any goal and is there are stake at all?
Just......really good. Almost feels like a Harry Potter book series in a What if scenario. Good writing and fight scenes, the characters aren't dumb.
This fanfiction is exceptional, the beginning is dark and melancholic, but little by little the fanfiction teaches us to value friendship and hope. There are exciting moments and battles. I judge a book to be good when it brings me an emotion and this book did a lot of good.
Haven't read this yet... Just thought I could leave my complain.... With the summary/synopsis or whatever. I actually thought it's gonna be a harem fic.. I'll still read, though maybe not much as others I've searched at this point in time.. Still, more power to you author... May you and the others have more positive lives so you can write more works for us to read..

It pain me to write this review because Im a big fan of author other book and seeing other comments calling it unique I thought i'd try it. BUT this is sooo depressing. This coming from a reader who like dark/anithero/villain mc and stories. This book writing makes you wanna jump off a building, its like reading a very monotonous sucide note. Dont cofuse it with sad since I've read sad stories that are heart touching but this one just feel gloomy depression. The only reason im giving it high score is because of author other work. but this book is for ghouls and Dementors 🤷♂️
