Chapitre 8: Chapter 8: Raccoons?
As I put my hand on the wall the feeling that something was there was getting stronger and stronger, it reached a point where I was solely focused on that feeling.
And I wanted to put my hand on the wall but my hand just straight up went through the wall, it was as if it was an illusion, which now I realize it is.
I slowly put my whole hand through the wall, nothing changed it still felt as if my hand was in the cave but not in the cave at the same time, like the wall was some kind of portal.
I decided not to wait anymore and went through the 'portal', I half expected to see some kind of giant being that held untold wisdom, or some kind of treasure that would allow me to conquer the universe, but... what I saw definitely wasn't something I expected.
There was a white raccoon, dressed in a Kimono, and I just stood there gawking at the raccoon with my jaws dropped.
The raccoon had a small smirk on its face as if it expected my reaction.
"Well hello there, human."
"Uhm uhh hello, I'm Shikamaru Nara, it's nice to meet you... I guess."
The raccoon raised its eyebrow at my name, "Hello Shikamaru-san, I am the elder of the Raccoon clan, my name is Shiroi, now I'm sure you have many questions but please keep them until I explain to you what exactly is happening."
Her words shook me out of my stupor and I noticed that we definitely weren't in the cave anymore, the surrounding was colorful, to say the least, there were a wide array of colors surrounding me, from red to blue to even colors I've never seen before, but what truly amazed me was the sheer size of the fauna surrounding me, the trees were taller than even those in Konoha, which were made by Hashirama Senju himself, so you could guess that these trees were giants, there were also giant mountains, on many of them I could see stairs going up the side of the mountain.
Shiroi waved at me to follow her, "Welcome to Araiguma no ryōiki, the Raccoons Realm, we the clan of Raccoons reside within this realm, much like the Toads, Snakes, and Slugs, although we haven't had any contact with the outside other than with the other clans, we are glad to have found a new member for our clan."
"Wait, what do you mean new member?"
She just cryptically smiled at me, "You will understand soon."
She then started walking up a very and I mean a very long set of stairs, I didn't have much of a clue on what to do so I just decided to do the wisest thing and followed her.
After what seemed like an endless amount of walking we arrived at the top of the mountain, strangely we hadn't seen any other animals, no insects, wild animals, or other raccoons.
As she walked up the final step, she turned around to look at me, "We will be meeting the leader of the Raccoons, be respectful."
'Hold on, I haven't even been here for more than a day and I was already meeting the leader?'
I just nodded at her as I knew that I wouldn't have been able to say any intelligent words at the moment.
At the top of the mountain, there was a very large metal building, which I was surprised at seeing, I didn't expect them to have metal buildings as the only place that did use it was Amegakure, which was basically a giant metal city.
We entered the room and if Shiroi was a normal-sized raccoon then this raccoon was more of a giant, it was sitting on a comfy-looking chair in a meditative position, the raccoon was a dark blue color, its face was white and it was at least 10 meters tall, even while sitting.
It opened one of its eyes, and its eye was constantly changing colors, then it started speaking.
"Hmm, another Nara, our first human clan member was also a Nara, around 300 years ago, he was the first one to use the shadows and his name was Shikarai Nara, he looked a lot like you, now you can decide whether you want to join us if you decide to join you will have access to our training techniques and our books, you will also be able to summon us, of course, we will want information on the current matters of the world, but that would be all, now do you join us or will you leave and try to find another summoning clan, of course, you wouldn't have been here if you didn't have a big compatibility with us, even if you did it the way that Jiraiya boy did by reverse summoning himself without a contract you would still end up here, so do you join or not?"
This was certainly a lot to take in, I never knew that there was a raccoon clan in Naruto, there was one raccoon that I could remember, it was in a filler episode fighting together with some other dude, now I think they worked similarly to the toad summons, there was the leader, then there was Shiroi the elder, and there was probably a 'boss' summon as well, there were likely other members as well, and one thing that I could describe them as was...

Last chapter for this week, no chapters in the weekend, only during the week, and yes he will be the raccoon summoner, why? because they're cute, I tried looking for raccoon drawings but I couldn't find anything and I'm very bad at art so you just have to use your imagination.
