" Why did you tell lies to the nurse! " he asked instantly, looking at her face for the reply. " Because...Adrian doesn't want anyone to know about her pregnancy. He doesn't want to keep the risk of her life or the baby's life. I hope you can understand if you have a brain, why I lied to the nurse, " she answered.

His brain processed after she spoke to him. He nodded his head as approval to her.

" At least now try to understand What Adrian is. His love for Katherine is as deep as the ocean and pure as the holy water…." She told him. 

" But….What if someone thinks that you are pregnant! " he questioned.

She smiled weakly at him and said, " If I care about it then I would never give my name to the nurse. I am ready to face anything…." 

Martin knew how tough it was to face the gossip of any woman as he saw Katherine's life very closely.
