Chapitre 5: 10

"We still don't understand why you forbid us from contacting the rest of the creators, sister Mera."

Geth said as I looked from an observation post on enormous shipyards that could build multiple dreadnoughts class ships at the same time that Geth constructed when the bleak future was revealed to them.

"Youn doesn't understand organics enough, Geth. It was just 162 years ago that you almost killed our race, I know you didn't wish to, but my ancestors didn't give you much choice."

I said as I tipped another command to construct another batch of Aegis-type defense platforms.

"Quarians, my people, your creators are in the stadium where their parents and their grandparents taught them about atrocities that you made upon them, forgetting it was us who started the Morning war."

I said as I looked on another holo screen showing how humans tried to colonize Mars with the use of a 'Helpful Alien' cache of data that was more detailed and easier to comprehend than the Prothean beacons that I left on the Moon masked as to not arise some question how they didn't find it earlier but not enough masked to hide it from them.

And one that spoke about wonders of A.I coexisting with organics.

"Organics aren't like you. They don't think most of the time logically, their prejudices that were taught are strong in their mind, and if they were given the choice of either coexisting with you or destroy you, they would choose the latter."

I still marveled at the Geht, and there was zero opposition against building up forces. Geth didn't tire, didn't sleep, eat, or rest. From the moment the Geth chose to follow my advice, they built, created, and researched new things that they would ever try as they lacked organic imagination.

"Or worse, enslave you and made you into mindless drones once again."

I said as my hand squeezed into a fist as my biotics flared. In these ten years after my awakening, I come to see Geths as my family, naive, stupid, and often clumsy family but a family nonetheless.

"They need to become truly desperate, Geth, and there is still time until harvest. We will contact them when the time is right and would be when Citadel meets Humans, giving us plenty of time to contact quarians and get them there without prying eyes as Citadel would be too much pre-occupied with Humans."

I said as I made sure to let some helpful information for humans on Mars, like better kinetic shields for ships and soldiers, to Thanix cannons that I made Geth research and build, God how I loved foreknowledge, even If I didn't know how to build these things, I just needed to tell Geth about them and how they worked and they would find a solution in the little time themselves.

"They need to suffer before we show them light."

I said with a cold tone, and I was both Human and Quarian, just as much I became Geth, as the neural chip inside my mind connected me to Geth collective, not enough to fry my head from the enormous data, but enough to let me know if something is happening inside.

I knew that it changed me, made me more logical, but nothing serious as rewriting who I was, I just look at things more logically.

That was the reason I didn't give humans more technology, and I wanted them to make Citadel fear and not steamroll them. With both Humans and Citadel having attention on each other, it would make them secretly build forces, forces I no, we needed to fight Reapers when the time came.

Citadel council arent morons, no matter how much they looked as ones, they wouldn't go fully into war with Humans, but they will try to get human technology I gifted them, making the Citadel stronger without knowing it were Geth who helped them, and at the same time it would make Humans more averse to join Citadel, thus not being bind be Farixen treaty or any other treaty as genetic law that would forbid humans from using the genetic researched I gave them too.

After all, humans wouldn't wish to give up upon genetic technology that made them live longer or grow stronger just because Citadel said so...

In short, I want to create two powers that would go fully into the cold war where they would build forces and technology and same time let the Reaper A.I that is in Citadel completely obvious that it was my doing, thus thinking it was just a normal organic thing.

"And, if there is one thing common in this galaxy, is it Might is Right."

I said as I watched another new type of sniper-dreadnought fly from the shipyards.

"We don't understand, sister Mera, but as our organic ambassador, we shall abide by your thinking."

Geth said, and I smiled at the Geth platform that was beside me. Even If I was connected to a collective and could speak to them through the implant, I wanted one of Geth platforms to always follow me. After all, at least like that, I wouldn't feel so lonely...

"Tell me, what is progress on genophage?"

I asked Geth as I didn't want to look into the collective for an answer, I still wanted a normal social interaction, well as normal as it could be between organic and hive-minded Geth.

"Geth should have full results after the Queen of Omega Aria send us the Krogan female specimen we asked for."

Geth said, and I chuckled, no matter how much they fear A.I, money is always the language of criminals, and Aria doesn't care from where the credits came from. Aria completely doesn't care what Geth's agenda is. For Aria, the credits are of foremost interest.

In short, I went fully Collector tactic, If I wanted something from Citadel space, I contacted Aria, who get it for me, and I gave her credits that Geth hacked inside the Citadel Volus banks.

"I see, and the project deadland?"

I asked Geth.

"Already 40% of Geth territory is covered."

Geth said, and I just smiled. The project deadland was my code name for making Perseus Veil into a fortress.

The Mass relays were covered from all sides by thousands, millions of mines that sole purpose was to detect and then charge into enemy ships as they blow up. The idea I get from the stargate serial, I think? Sometimes my memories are were murky.

The moons, celestial bodies, and larger asteroids were covered by cannons that were capable of shooting tungsten rods that were strong enough to theoretically punch through Reapers kinetic shields and shred them to nothingness in one shot, that is, if they don't evade, still there were so many cannons that the Reapers would have a hard time at evading all shots.

It is fantastic what could Geth make when they truly tried, after my advice, they started to increase their numbers as they mined anything that was good for them.

And with cannons and defense stations that don't utilize Eezo, they started using a combination of fusion reactors and Eezos much more freely than previously as they didn't fear any radiation or mistakes.

"Sister Mera, you didn't tell us why you wished for us to research the genophage."

Geth said as I stoped my minor monologue that became increasingly common from the time I stayed with Geth.

God, I need another organic to speak to.

Fuck I call them organic again, I mean person...

"Hm, well, you see, I find the Salarian method very distasteful. They didn't make the Krogan sterile, and they made the children die inside the female krogans wombs, making it a very horrible matter for my fellow organics to see. After all, I can't or rather don't want to imagine what I would feel if my child was born already dead."

I said with rage, what Citadel has done, what they still let happen to krogans, is a travesty.

"I wish to change it, but I too find krogans problematic, so rather than making their children die inside the wombs, I wish to change the genophage into one more civilized one, in short, I will change it so that the female krogans could have one or two kids at the same time, but with a distance of at least fifty years before they could become pregnant again after all the krogans live for thousands of years, there should be some limiting."

I said as I already planned a way to buy Krogan favor, it seems I needed contact the ever-lovable krogan Wrex, and maybe even Ooker, but still, I was 140 years give or take before the canon, so it wouldn't be surprising if their personalities would be different from the time of games.

"Hey, I just remembered. What is the status of my idea of drone ships?"

I asked Geth after I remembered my spontaneous idea of a fully automatic ship that doesn't need any hallways inside and be just one big space hulking gun that would be used by Geth on the remote control. If I was right, the Geth could mass produce this type of ship and use it as cannon fodder that would give serious punch to enemies.

"The 'Big Ship Gun' as you named is still in revision, problems with a repair such ships were made, but we used sister Mera idea of building such ship from blocks that way if one block became faulty we can just change it, then matter of possible Reaper hacking was raised that Geth needs to find countermeasures against."

Geth said, and I smiled. Yep, I knew my ideas from games and animes from my previous life would be handy.
