"Can you put me down? I'm not sure it's safe for you to carry me any longer. Also, take a left from here" the boy carrying Noah just let out an amused humm at those instructions but did as was asked of him.

He had done an amazing job following the magic bird Noah had conjured up but there had been a limit to how long it could be followed. The split magic of the bird had made it impossible to follow all the way through.

As soon as it had faded out of existence, Keito had taken it as a sign that he was free to do as he wished. So he had started wandering around aimlessly and that was not helping them at all.

In the end, Noah had taken charge and had guided the teen toward their destination. But sometimes, Keito just deviated from the path without any reason and it was irritating.
