The view from the other side of the cell was like a horror movie. Dark brown dried blood on the ground and her black clothes she was bandaged roughly on her body. She was tied with both hands on her side and legs on a large cannon-like iron ball that made it hard for her to move. Maria kept her head down at first. Her head jerked up as soon as she heard the gates open. Her sunken eyes watched the three figures on the opposite side of the gate. Her mouth growls as the view in her eyes becomes clear. “Tch! I was praying you were dead.”

Millei flinched as Isabella kept a straight face. “How could you say something like that? Ms Maria?”

Millei was a young one, and even though Maria was a prisoner, she was still scared of her. Maria scoffs. “The joke is on you. If you do not have the guts.”
