“Leave the Empress to me. I want you to save yourself, proof that you are going to my strongest ally and the ghosts will be saved. They need to be under the Empire.” Nicholas was gripping her arms still, he wanted her to understand clearly.

“Is that important now? Isabella needs saving brother.” Rosa whines.

She was feeling the cold in the air making her body grow goosebumps. The cloak on her body was warm enough but the thought of someone getting close to the Empress to poison her without anyone knowing what was going on. Made her think the worst. “The Empress was already acting strange. I should have understood. I was feeling just angry too much.”

Nicholas dropped his eyes on the floor thinking of the day Rosa left. “But I will take care of her, but I need you to be safe as well. You are not doing a good job of that Rosaline.”
