Her hand was going to grab the bread from the plate. Another hand came out and grabbed her by the throat.

“Oi when did our sleeping beauty wake up?” Rosa raised her head to see Babak grinning at her.

He finally released her and patted her head. “Your praises are floating around the camp. You threw that man from the balcony to the ground?”

He patted her back but it was more like a big slap on the bag. Rosa almost stumbled when trying to get the bread again.

“Ah really? That was bad. I tried to capture him but he was a bit hard to catch.” Rosa tried to explain.

“Kid you did not talk to the captain yet, did you?” Babak pulled her to sit on the large table.

“Ah no, I was a bit hungry. I came here directly.” Rosa followed him and took a chair on the long bench.

Merlin, Felix, and Tom were already there at the table grinning at her.

“Hey, guys.” Rosa smiled.

She reached over to pat Felix’s head. “Hey, little brother. How is the work going?”

She pulled him into a hug.
